A skimboard park walking distance from our home. Famous for skim boarding, natural rock 'slides' and the man made waterfall. Free and always open, it's a great way to spend a few hours in the sun and sand without having to drive to the lake or beach.

Enjoy this 3.8-mile out-and-back trail near Washington, Utah. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 26 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking and horseback riding, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are March through November. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

A fun, local hike that is right off of Red Cliffs Parkway. You can do a loop and check out the views of Lava rock and the canyons of Tuacahn or watch some of the rock climbers.
