The gem of this city. Catch the ferry or take a water taxi over. Explore on foot or bicycle. Four different beaches including Toronto's only Nude beach Hanlan's point (always a bit of a party). Center island has an amusement park. Walk the pier and the boardwalk. Explore the neighbourhood of cottages at Ward's Island. Have lunch at the cafe. Play a round of frisbee golf. Most importantly check out the view of the city from here, even better at night!
Take snacks, there are washrooms at the firehall. It will be a half to full day adventure.

Also known for its sunday afternoon beach parties and raves, this is one of the more energetic beaches in town. there is also a massive dog park that is forested, as well as forested trails that connect it to Tommy Thompson park.

Woodbine beach is a long boardwalk with endless sand so grab a towel and umbrella from the house, pack a snack and go catch some sun. Have a sit on a bench and people watch at the boardwalk. Get some ice cream at the concession stand. Walk west to the end of the boardwalk and it continues into a forested area with lots of waterfront sit spots.
