Transportation

Rent a car is recommended, if not you can always use the following: Taxis in Aruba do not have meters; rates are fixed and should be checked in advance. All rates must be in Aruban florins (Afl.) as well as in US dollars (US$); Exchange rate Afl. 1.80 to US$1.00. Minimum fare is Afl 12.60 / US$7.00. There is Bus service to and from downtown Oranjestad and the resort areas is reliable and inexpensive. Service every 15 minutes from 5:45 a.m. until 6 p.m.; buses run every 60 minutes until 11:30 p.m. The bus stops in from of our property.
