Bottled or Brita?
Our water is from our own private well. It tastes good and is safe to consume. Up-to-date testing reports a high iron oxide content, which is a natural result of rainwater absorbed by healthy soil and tends to smell like sulfur. We understand that things like drinking water can make or break a vacation home experience, so we provide a Brita pitcher and replacement filters for your use. BYOW, if you prefer!

In Vermont we tend to experience 3 seasons in one day, so always pack a sweater for summer, two for fall, and three for winter (to wear at the same time--brrr!).

We have built you a great big kitchen with a family-size dining area; there's a fire pit outside for hot dogs on a stick, a grill for burgers, and rivers all around for catching fish for dinner!
