We love coming here to soak. It’s about $50 day pass, it’s clean and beautiful but all natural hot spring’s. Unfortunately kids are not allowed. About an hour drive from our house.

Ten Thousand Waves is a Japanese onsen on the way to the Santa Fe Ski Valley. You can soak here or get a massage or facial treatment. It’s really beautiful and we love the restaurant attached, Izanami.

There are tons of great New Mexican classics, but the unassuming and always friendly (and good) Plaza Cafe is a great addition to any afternoon or evening. They typically don't have the wait you'll find at some other highly regarded restaurants in town (bonus!).
