If you came to enjoy the Charlotte food scene, you're in luck because there are a number of great places within ten minutes of the bungalow!
OMB is just 6 mins from the house (cheap Uber ride!). Spacious brewery with a pub & 8-acre beer garden offering its house brews in a lively setting. What I love is that there is PLENTY of seating, and many spots have shade for hot days. There is often live music as well. Their food menu brings out German flair with things like schnitzel, beer cheese, and flavored brats. So bring your appetite! If you're traveling with children, you can absolutely bring them along and there is ample space for them to play around.

An old factory and military depot, it's now converted into a giant complex of innovative buildings including an AirStream cocktail bar. There are tire swings for the kids, several food stalls, and a massive walk of murals done by local artists. There is often live music, cooking classes, and other public events so check their social media and website for additional info. Just 9 minutes away from your stay!

The "Lightrail" is a fast, affordable way to get around.
The Lynx Lightrail is a fun way to get around town if you're going to major points of interest. Youngsters will enjoy the "train", and adults will enjoy a break from driving and traffic!
If you are in town for a concert or sporting event at Spectrum Center, the rail stops right at the center. You will save yourself the headache of the parking garage and traffic!
