Mountain hike
This is a quite steep hike, and you should be in a fairly decent shape choosing this hike. It's estimated to be about 5 hour round trip, and it's (only) slightly longer than 6 km.
Make sure to have the right hiking equipment. (Especially have a look at your clothing, and make sure you have extra/warm enough clothes you can change to once you're at the top)

Hornindalsrokken is a mountain that is 1529 moc. It is a beautiful hike, aproximatley 6 km long where you can walk from a parkinglot, to the top and back to the car. If you want a more relaxed or not so steep trip, you can walk to Blåvatnet, which is approximately 3,3 km from the parking lot. It takes about 50 minutes to drive by car from our apartment to the parking lot beneath Hornindalsrokken.

Trollenyken is 881 moc, and is marked as demanding on the norwegian hiking site Ut. The hike is approximately 3,2 km from the starting point and back. It is a bit longer if you walk from the apartment, Which is no problem! It is a beautiful hike, with an amazing view on the top.

The wonderful trip to Naustdalskamben is an easy mountain hike suitable for most people. From the top, you'll have a fantastic view of the fjords and mountains, and you'll also be able to have a peek back at Nordfjordeid.
There is also a small cabin that's open for the public.

Rindehornet is a beautiful hike, that is neither too steep or too long. The mountain is 497 moc, and you can choose to walk to the top and back, or do a round trip. The round trip is about 5 km long. It takes approximately 15 minutes to drive from Lotevegen to the parkinglot beneath the mountain. Right beneath from where the forest start, there is also a place called Gildra, where you can enjoy the view from a swing or light a campfire and enjoy some marshmallows in a small, open wooden cabin or a bench.

It takes approximately 15 minutes to drive from Lotevegen to the parkinglot beneath the mountain.
