I believe this McMenamin's is in an old Train Station - thus the close proximity to the train tracks. This is a nice place - it has outdoor seating & a full bar. Food is always good!

This is a great little Mexican Restaurant! I've had out of town family & friends who LOVE and / or rave about this place! They are family friendly, at least we take our kids there. They also offer outdoor seating. Plus, they have a drive-through if you don't have time to sit down.

If you're looking for a more upscale dining or lounging experience, Brix is an excellent place. It is a large building. They have a restaurant, lounge and a rooftop dining area (seasonal). They even have event rooms, if you're planning a trip ahead of time.

The Douglas County Fair is a big thing in Roseburg. Fair Week is always in August. Aside from the fair, the fairgrounds have a park (for kids) on the backside, along with river access. It is FREE, if no events are taking place. There are several other events throughout the year, such as the Sportsmen's Outdoor Show (Feb), a Spring Art Festival, car races, etc.
