This seems a surprisingly chi-chi cafe for such a small place, until you realise that the Czech Chocolaterie Bon Bon comes from Cernovice. Excellent ice cream and a full range of chocolate products.

Go and meet camels, lama, goats and pot-belly pigs in a mini petting zoo. You can also purchase free-range milk here (a rare find due to industrialised farming methods in these parts).

On hot days the quarry, close to the Jewish cemetery, is the best place to swim in many miles. The water is crystal clear and there is a convenient jumping off point for the more adventurous.
