Leura Cascades Walking TrackThe Cascades are a wonderful series of waterfalls 20 minutes walk from Figtree Studio.
A terrific walk of about 4½ hours. Get a bus or cab to Scenic World, then either descend into the forest via the Scenic Railway or via Furber Steps, and walk back to Figtree Studio passing under the Three Sisters. Maps available on request.

The most amazing, albeit busy, view of the Jameson Valley. The shop has good bushwalking (hiking) maps and memorabilia. You can get a bus to Katoomba (685 or 695) then change to the 686 to take you to Echo Point and Scenic World.
