Sightseeing
From sunrise to sunset, Bondi Beach entices with its laid-back lifestyle, stunning coastal surrounds and buzzing eateries. Start the day with an early morning surf, yoga class or swim at Bondi Baths, all while being treated to a glorious sunrise over the ocean. Come evening, enjoy sun-kissed cocktails at a beachside bar or grab a table at a trendy restaurant.
Enjoy a dip between the red and yellow flags. Professional lifeguards patrol Bondi Beach 365 days a year and even have their own reality TV show, Bondi Rescue. Kids can swim in the shallow North Bondi Children's Pool (we love this spot!).
You can learn to surf year-round at one of the accredited surf schools. Surfboard hire is also available.
Between May and November, you can easily spot whales during their annual migration from one of the spectacular vantage points along the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk, a 6km track which links four beautiful beaches. In late spring, the cliffs of the coastal walk are transformed by Sculpture by the Sea, the world’s largest annual free-to-the-public outdoor sculpture exhibition.

With clothing from up-and-coming designers, handmade jewellery, exotic imports, retro-chic furniture, vinyl records, one-off vintage pieces, homewares, art and so much more, the Markets are a treasure trove of unique pieces. Great place to mix it with the locals at Australia’s most famous beach.

With clothing from up-and-coming designers, handmade jewellery, exotic imports, retro-chic furniture, vinyl records, one-off vintage pieces, homewares, art and so much more, the Markets are a treasure trove of unique pieces. Great place to mix it with the locals at Australia’s most famous beach.
This ones a favourite! Bronte Beach, sandwiched between the bigger Bondi and Coogee beaches, is a cozier stretch of sand and surf perfect for families.
Two things make it really special - the beautiful Bronte Baths (my absolute favourite!), a tidal ocean pool on the southern side of the beach.
And a naturally formed rock pool where the water is shallow and pond-like with occasional gentle waves or a small swell. Small children can paddle here in ocean water but without the waves, rips or currents.
There are a number of cafes across the road, a kiosk at the SLS club, change rooms, showers and toilets and a large park with BBQs and playground next to the beach.
Don’t leave without walking up the path past the Baths to the end of the headland. It is absolutely beautiful views and striking sandstone formations.

Beautiful beach with breathtaking views. Located between Bondi Beach and Bronte Beach, you’ll pass it if you do the coastal walk. Not for swimming, I would only recommend this beach for experienced swimmers and surfers. There are strong waves and rips which are not safe for regular swimmers. Stay safe and swim at Bondi or Bronte Beach!

The cocktails here are no-fuss. Served over ice, the Margaritas are easy to throw back, as are the Ryegarita and the Stormy Jerry – Sailor Jerry with Bundaberg ginger beer and lime. Not so easy is the super-intense Bloody Mary complete with chilli-infused vodka, dill pickle and a pickle egg
