If you want to be where all the locals and boaters go on the weekend, Peanut Island is the place to be. Don’t worry if you don’t have a boat- take the ferry for a cheap daily fee or get adventurous and rent kayaks in the local shops! Once you get to the island you’ll understand why this is the cool spot to hangout; having your own private beach, linking up with others relaxing and enjoying the sun, or exploring the island and it’s campsites, snorkeling lagoons, or cooking a meal on their grills- a weekend here is time well spent.
