10-minute drive just to the left on the road to Point Udall. This is a wonderful sit and listen to the waves beach. It is popular for couples and families. The foliage kind of sections it off so you can always find a private spot. People do bring dogs to this beach pretty regularly.

This is a very remote beach near point Udall. Getting to this beach involves a 20-to-30-minute hike. Excellent snorkeling. Be aware this beach does not have any natural shade so you may want to bring an umbrella or something to provide shade.

The beach is unique in that there is virtually no swimming area however there is a volleyball court that often has a game, a pool at the hotel that looks over the beach you can use for a fee, and a bar / restaurant The Deep End right on the beach. The reef is great to snorkel but it has a rocky walk to get to the water.
This is a nice beach with a bathroom and an outside shower. It is currently getting a facelift but it is more of the go, swim, eat homemade sandwiches beach. Great parking. Currently they are renovating a portion of the facilities but the beach is still open and in great shape.

Mermaid beach is inside the Buccaneer Hotel Complex. Drive to the guard shack on the left at the front and the them you are going to the beach. Travel through the complex to the beach parking lot. Snorkeling is OK at best as the beach is busy. But everything else is great.

Rainbow beach is near the Frederiksted Pier. Excellent hang out beach with jet ski, kayak, and paddle board rentals. It does get busy on Sundays and it is extremely popular with locals.

We did the bioluminescent tour with Bush Tribe and it was fantastic. The staff was knowledgeable and the experience in and of itself was hands down one of the best we ever had. Be sure to book in advance, this one fills up quick!

We took a private charter with Caribbean Sea Adventures. It was fantastic! The captain took us to the snorkeling trail at Buck Island. Then once we completed the route we headed back to a beach on the other side of the island to relax and swim. It was an amazing experience. Book ahead!
