Our Cottage is located 5km from Doneraile Park. This is a great place to take your dogs for a walk.
There are many different tracks to follow from a lazy stroll to a 5km loop walk. There is also a lovely pet friendly coffee shop that will offer water and refreshments to your pet and a place where you can sit, enjoy the locals or the peace and tranquility.

The Ballyhoura's are really dog friendly. Downloads the 'Visit Ballyhoura App' the find 7 different walks that you can do. We do keep our dogs on leads on these walks because the area is full of wildlife.

This is a 3.5km walk, 4km from our cottage. I love this loop walk with our dogs. It is a forest track so good walking shoes are required and a long lead. My dogs love this walk, but always come back muddy and tired. Highly recommend.
