Please note that there are no Uber or Lyft services available on the island. The public transportation system may not be reliable, especially if you are on a tight schedule. However, if you need a ride, we have information for a driver who offers reasonable rates. Just let us know and we will send you his card!

In the West Indies, it is customary to always greet someone with "Good Morning," "Good Evening," or "Goodnight" when entering a room or starting a conversation. This tradition is deeply ingrained in the local culture, and it is considered rude and offensive not to follow it. Therefore, it is important to respond in kind when someone greets you, and to always show respect and courtesy to others.

It's important to note that the majority of restaurants on island require reservations to be made in advance. Due to the high demand, it's recommended to book your reservation well ahead of time to ensure that you can experience the dining experience you desire. Restaurants in this area are known for their exceptional cuisine, ambiance, and service, so it's no surprise that they tend to fill up quickly. By planning ahead and reserving in advance, you can enjoy a memorable dining experience that will leave you feeling satisfied and content.

Please do not walk at night alone. If you are planning to travel on foot to get to the boardwalk please shoot me a message and I will send you a map of the safest route.

Public transit is not very reliable, if you are limited in time it is not ideal. The Vitran Public Bus System services various areas of the island. Air-conditioned buses run between Christiansted and Frederiksted about every 2 hours daily from 5:30 am and 9pm. No service on Sundays. They start at Tide Village, to Christiansted and travel along Route 75 to Golden Rock shopping center. They then make their way to Route 70 with stops at Sunny Isle Shopping Center, La Reine Shopping Center, St. George’s Botanical Gardens and Whim Plantation before getting to Frederiksted.

We regret to inform you that late check-in or check-out services cannot be provided. We maintain a tight schedule to ensure that each guest can check-in by 3 pm, which is the standard practice. After a guest checks out, we must thoroughly clean and inspect the condo, repairing and replacing any necessary items. This process guarantees that everything is in perfect condition for the next guest's arrival and that any issues or damages are addressed promptly. We understand that some guests may prefer late check-in or check-out services. Regrettably, we cannot accommodate these requests.

During your stay, it's highly probable that you will require cash. Many places on the island only accept cash and may not inform you in advance. To avoid any inconvenience, always check with the vendor whether they accept cards before placing your order. It is advisable to keep some petty cash with you at all times.

We do not provide multiple keys to guests as they are difficult to keep track of while traveling, and losing them can lead to additional expenses for the guest. We suggest returning the key to the lockbox after use to avoid losing it and ensure that everyone has access to the condo using the same code provided during check-in.

Power outages are frequent on the island, particularly during inclement weather. Our units lacks backup power, but we're actively working to address this issue. Outages may last from a few minutes to a few hours. During daytime outages we recommend taking a walk through town or swimming at a near by beach. Night time outages we recommend a dinner outing or game night!
