Their elote en vaso (corn in a cup) and a real deal Mexican Coke are regular add-ons to our order as well!
Eat it there on their picnic tables or take them with you to the beach like we do!

They have everything from hand scooped ice cream, shakes, sundaes, to hand pulled salt water taffy (call ahead to see what their weekly taffy schedule is so you can watch the process and get some free samples!) to fudge and hand-dipped chocolates!
During the busier seasons seating can be really hard to come by so you might have to take your cone on the go or have a member of your party stalk a table while you wait in line, tag team it people!

The hotel is a historic gem in itself and has recently undergone an amazing renovation which included them painting the majority of the exterior PINK! Looks like someone has great taste in exterior color choices over there. ;)
This is a bit on the pricier side (around $59.99 per adult and $29.99 per child aged 6-12 and children 5 and under are free.) and only on Sundays, but ohhhhhh so worth it! They also usually run these elaborate buffets for Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

This amazing little museum is situated in the basement of Moody Mansion and is about a 10 minute walk from the house. They have so many fun stations for the kids to do and our kids never want to leave!

Moody Gardens is a solid, repeatable fun destination that has something for everyone ALL YEAR ROUND. You might have caught a glimpse of the three pyramids as you crossed over the causeway as you entered the island. They house an aquarium, rainforest, and rotating exhibits as well as boast a seasonal waterpark! We love visiting so much that we've help family season passes for years. You can do so much no matter what the current weather situation is!

Stewart Beach is just 10 blocks from the house and has it all! Walk there or drive and park, but this wonderful beach has it all! Don't stress over parking, packing a picnic, chairs, etc.
