If you're looking for a patio overlooking the water, then head over to the Island Restaurant. They have Whitetooth beer on tap and have a great kids menu as well. They're open for breakast, lunch and dinner. They get pretty busy at dinnertime, so wait times can get a little long.

This is a pretty great spot to try out if you're looking for something a little different than what you can find in Golden. They have great ramen and some pretty kickin' cocktails! Space is a little limited but definitely worth trying out!

Sightseeing
If you're looking for the best views in town, head up to the Mount 7 lookout. This is where the hang gliders launch from and shows you a 360 view of the entire valley. Sunsets are really pretty up here, but just keep in mind that the road is an old logging road, so 4x4 vehicles are highly recommended.

From 11-4 on Wednesdays and Saturday's throughout the summer months, you can hit up the farmer's markets in Spirit Square. There's always a great selection of fresh produce, baked goods and some locally made artisan goods!

The Rotary Trails are a great walking path!
We have a system of trails that run along the river called the Rotary Trails. There's markers all along the path which give you information about the area. These are great pedestrian and easy bike paths to take the dog for a walk or stroll along after getting some ice cream from the movie theatre.
