For more than a century, locals have enjoyed this urban oasis’s jogging path, shelters and playground. Runners and walkers, Audubon Park has a 1.8 mile paved path with exercise stations (pull-up bars, push-up bars etc) as well as a slightly longer dirt path.
For those looking for a longer run or additional sights, tucked behind the Audubon Zoo, on the other side of Magazine St is the The Fly. This waterfront portion of the park is a great spot to relax, hang out, toss a frisbee and watch the sun set.
