Pinecrest lake is a great place for free snow play! Follow directions to the Pinecrest Lake Marina for ample free parking, picnic benches, and tons of snow play for all ages. Our cabin is conveniently located just about an easy 30 minute drive to Pinecrest lake.

Pinecrest lake is a great place for free snow play! Follow directions to the Pinecrest Lake Marina for ample free parking, picnic benches, and tons of snow play for all ages. Our cabin is conveniently located just about an easy 30 minute drive to Pinecrest lake.
Sightseeing
Donnell Vista is a great place for an east walk. The handicap accessible 3/4 mile loop offers beautiful views and interactive information. If you are looking to explore the Stanislaus National Forest with a very easy beautiful hike for the whole family, this is your stop. The vista has plenty of parking, bathrooms, and is located 17 miles east of Pinecrest, and 35 miles east of Twain Harte.

Stop here for breakfast, lunch, or a picnic sandwich on the way to hiking, fishing, or skiing. The Sugar Shack is located right on the 108 just a few miles up the road from our cabin.
When there is snow, this is a great place to grab a warm beverage and let the kids make some snowballs in a small, safe area.
