Playa Flamingo is famous for the sunsets, sailing, marina and tranquil blue swimming water. Enjoy sunset cocktails at Coco Loco beachfront restaurant or try renting a jet ski and cruising the coastline. It is a 20 minute drive from Tamarindo.

Brasilito is a little town about 15 minutes from Tamarindo with walk-in only access to the beautiful beach made of seashells called Playa Conchal. Playa Conchal is the perfect beach for swimming, it is sheltered and calm and has some pretty good snorkeling at the rock heads. It is a 10 minute walk into the beach from the parking area in Brasilito. Be sure to stock up on water and snacks in Brasilito before you hike into the beach. That being said, you will find lots of vendors selling fresh coconut, ceviche, beer, water and coco locos or pina coladas. So bring some cash for purchases.
