This is a great place for a drink or a meal. The lakeside setting is the best in Wellington. When the weather is warm you can sit right outside by the water, and when it's cold you can enjoy the view out the window. If you plan to visit on the weekend or in the summer, it's worth making a reservation. I highly recommend the eggs benny for Sat/Sun brunch!

Excellent beer, food, service, prices and vibe. It really ticks all the boxes. They change their menu often and they limit it to around 12 items at the time, making sure what you get is prepared expertly. I also think their pizza is among the best in the County :)

East & Main is, in my opinion, the best restaurant in town and one of the best in the County. Their menu is just fabulous, with generous sizes, great presentation and, more importantly, delicious. The service has always been excellent and the ambience is perfect. I recommend going for lunch, as it becomes more affordable, but if you want to impress, dinner time is the right choice. Make sure to make a reservation in the high season!

Their menu is just fabulous, with generous sizes, great presentation and, more importantly, delicious. The service has always been excellent and the ambience is perfect. I recommend going for lunch, as it becomes more affordable, but if you want to impress, dinner time is the right choice. Make sure to make a reservation in the high season!
3 minutes walk from our home, the Good Place is one of those spots where you just feel at home. It doesn't matter is you go for a quick coffee, a business meeting or a sit-down breakfast, you'll find the atmosphere relaxed and friendly just like the staff.

GOOD Place
153 Wellington Main St3 minutes walk from our home, the Good Place is one of those spots where you just feel at home. It doesn't matter is you go for a quick coffee, a business meeting or a sit-down breakfast, you'll find the atmosphere relaxed and friendly just like the staff.
Top recommendation: the breakfast sandwich on an English muffin!!
This restaurant was named one of the Top 25 in Canada in 2018 and for good reason. It's super laid back, it looks just like a roadside shack from the outside, and you eat at picnic tables out the back so it's great for kids to run around. The menu features the best seafood in the County - it's a little pricey but worth the treat. Try the lobster roll - $40 but totally worth it!! Definitely make a reservation in advance - it has very reduced opening hours through summer and closes entirely through the winter.

It's just made for Instagram with its pink and purple colours and quirky details, plus the service is very friendly and the food is fantastic. They've got a bunch of vegetarian/vegan options, plenty of healthy choices, or if you're into a breakfast poutine you can have that too.
This is one of our favourite restaurants in Prince Edward County. It is sophisticated but laidback (like everywhere in the County), with a great wine list and stunning food. The best place for a romantic date or just to treat yourself to a fabulous meal.

Just a short walk down the road from our house, this is a great place to try local brews. The interior is a cool place to hang out when the weather is cool or by night, and there is patio seating in the summer. Our favourite local brewery.

In our opinion this winery is the best in the County. The wine is incredible and the location, an old red barn, is beautiful. Check out the old bridge in the back, a wonderful place for a picnic or just a photo shoot. It's also open through the winter when it becomes the coziest place to cuddle up with a jazzy soundtrack, a warm blanket and a glass of wine.

Neighbourhoods
Bloomfield is about a 10 minute drive from our house. It is the best place to spend a couple of hours shopping in the small boutiques housed in colourful little buildings. We recommend having a coffee at Bloomfield Public House, then hitting all the cute shops (our favourites are KOKITO and Green Gables) then finishing with an ice cream at Slickers. Matron Brewery is also in Bloomfield, a great place to sample some local beers (their Janky is delicious!)
