Maroochydore is one of the best shopping precincts on the Sunshine Coast. The Sunshine Plaza is a great place for some retail therapy or you can grab a meal and watch the latest movie. If you prefer something more local try the Big Top and Ocean Street. With regular markets, the Ocean Street precinct is a must do experience. If you enjoy the water why not take a cruise along Maroochydore River.

Mount Coolum is an unmissable Sunshine Coast natural attraction that stands proudly against the Sunshine Coast landscape. Rising 208m above sea level, this impressive dome was created over 25 million years ago. You’ll need to be reasonably fit to climb it. Allow at least 45 minutes to reach the summit and another 30 minutes to make your way down to the car park. Allow time to take some great photos from the top, once at the summit you’ll be rewarded with sensational views of the Sunshine Coast. Looking East toward the sea, coastal views stretch from Double Island Point to Caloundra. Do not attempt the walk after dark or in wet weather and always stick to the designated tracks and keep away from cliff edges
