If you had to visit one museum in La Paz, it'd would be this one! The building itself is a real treasure, it has a very nice patio (see picture). Inside the museums the different masks and dresses of Bolivia's many indigenous people are very interesting and will keep you entertained for about 1-1,5 hours. The coffee-shop in the museum is also a nice place to stop and spent some relax time in really beautiful surroundings and to have a drink at the end of your visit.

Ethnography Museum

Sopocachi is one of the safest neighbourhoods of La Paz. It is a very pleasant area that offers many restaurants, cafés, museums and entertainment options around Plaza Abaroa and Plaza Espana. A highlight is Monticulo park where you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the city.
You will find Sopocachi just south of La Paz's city center. At Plaza Espana (yellow line) there is a teleferico station. The main road, Avenida 6. De Agosto offers many means of transportation (buses taxi) in and out of the city. Therefore, the space is the ideal starting point for exploring La Paz and the larger region!l the location offers excellent connections to the different parts of the city and beyond.

Sopocachi
