Aaron Franklin’s internationally renowned and (arguably) the best BBQ in town...definitely worth the experience to brag to all of your friends! You will wait in line.. 2-3 hours during the week; up to 6+ hours on the weekend. Umbrellas and coolers of beer are encouraged while you wait! Get there early! While the restaurant doesn’t open until mid-morning the facilities (restrooms) are available bright and early to cater to the BBQ pilgrims.

Our favorite Chinese food in town and it happens to be ~10 minutes from here. The food travels well for pick-up/delivery or dine-in. Get the Brisket Fried Rice and Mala Fried Chicken.

But you’ll want to stay late anyway as the restaurant slowly morphs into a seedy bar scene as your dinner progresses. Get the escargot then the duck or the pork chop!

This thick, rectangular, cheese to the edge, sauce on the top, Detroit-style pizza will blow you away! We have friends that visit just for this pizza.
