Super local (literally downstairs!) with GREAT coffee, wine, food and flowers. What more could you want?! Run by a very friendly family of sisters, and a beautiful garden at the back where there is almost always a seat.

Parks, walks and runs
Of all the local parks, this one is my favourite. Lots of quiet spots, a children's playground, cricket green, tennis courts and dogs.

A beautiful riverside park with a great café at the adjoining garden centre, and a small - historic - palace for history buffs. Head via the back roads to Hurlingham Gardens and you can pick up the pedestrian path just by the railway bridge.

You can pick up the beautiful Thames Path from the south side of Putney Bridge, crossing back over at Hammersmith Bridge, and back down the river to Bishops Park. A wonderful walk on a sunny weekend, or a slightly longer run, or even pick up a bike and cycle the whole route. The Barnes wetlands (and lots of LOVELY pubs in Barnes), Richmond, even Hampton Court are all accessible via the Thames Path.
