The Church of Holy Salvation is one of the most important pre-Romanesque buildings in Croatia, and it also figures high in terms of European pre-Romanesque architecture. According to the preserved inscription, it was built by Cetina County Prefect (župan) Gostiha with his sons and his mother Nemira in the last quarter of the 9th century. A large mediaeval necropolis consisting of more than 1,100 burials was discovered near the church. What features prominently among many and varied grave goods (jewellery, tools, weapons, money, textiles) are luxury earrings and fragments of a gilded silver belt enchased with human and animal figures, with Gothic elements added (preserved in the Museum of Croatian Archaeological Monuments in Split).

The Česma fountain is located in a 19th century picturesque park with the same name, where one of the many tributaries of the River Cetina rises. Stone steps lead to the spring, which can be reached from three directions, and the water flows from six stone drains on the stone wall. As a central gathering place, Česma played an important role in the lives of local people, also providing inspiration for Milan Begović, who wrote the libretto to Ero the Joker, the most popular Croatian opera. A monument to Begović is also placed there. Česma features as the most original stage for summer performances of Ero the Joker.

Balečki bridge was built in 1907. The construction project was undertaken by the Austrian administration, and it was built by home master builders using dark grey polished stone. The bridge has three equally-sized semicircular openings, which lie on the stone pylons with a rectangular cross-section. It is similar in configuration and method of construction to other bridges in Dalmatia dating from the second half of the 19th and the early 20th centuries. The whole surrounding area, including the riverbed, features as a great archaeological site with finds dating from Prehistory and Antiquity. The Balečki bridge was restored in 2014.
