There is no more beautiful place in the entire world. Max patch is a naturally occurring bald at 4600 feet in elevation, with 360 degree undisturbed views. It is a slid 45 minutes from Hot Springs, but worth the effort if you want to ascend to the closest thing to heaven. Please note, there is a effort to keep Max patch wild as it has become a favorite outdoor spot. Research times that it is "open", take a picnic and kite, but make sure to clean up after yourself
