Eshaness is just breathtakingly picturesque. The cliffs are beautiful and so impressive. Take care not to go too close to the edge.
Only a 50 minute drive with so many incredible views to take in on the way. Well worth a visit!

Sumburgh Head has a cafe, lighthouse, museum and, most importantly, is the nesting ground of hundreds of Puffins in the spring time. Not to mention the stunning panoramic views.

Shetlanders like to set things on fire!
Every year (Covid-19 permitting) the Shetlanders hold a series of festivals called Up Helly-Aa. It’s a Viking themed fire festival but it’s so much more than that and not something that can be explained with any hope to do it justice. If you want to see a torchlight procession, watch the locals burn a Viking galley that they’ve spent most of the year building, and then spend the rest of the weekend partying, you should give this a Google. This normally happens from January thru March in various communities across the islands. You won’t regret it!
