A short bike ride from the cottage or an even shorter car ride…The view of Lemonbay is spectacular, the bird island is in view, and at sunset you can watch the dolphins feed along the sea-wall! The food and drinks are very reasonable and of good quality.

It has nice boardwalks to walk upon if you are not inclined to put your feet in the sand, especially if you just came from dinner across the street and are wearing your very best…The beach it’s self is clean, and is a great spot for beach combers and treasure hunting; sharks teeth, shells , coral and more. Fishing off the beach is permitted, skim boards, surfing are some of the activities that you may enjoy as well. Renting beach boards are available if the “Beach guy”, is open and ready for business, as well as buying simple beach Necessities like sun screen and tanning lotion. There are Shops across the street that can also provide you with beach attire and other needed items at a reasonable price.

I jog on the trails which are approximately 3 miles long. You can take a picnic lunch or have a barbecue under the pavilion. It is well taken care of the grounds are well managed. My best Sunset photos have been taken there! No crowds just peace and quiet!😍

570 Bay Park BlvdThis is two blocks from the cottage. I personally love this park! It is a-remote and secluded, extremely beautiful place, you can stroll through the Mangrove forest and over the bay. I jog on the trails which are approximately 3 miles long. You can take a picnic lunch or have a barbecue under the pavilion. It is well taken care of the grounds are well managed. My best Sunset photos have been taken there! No crowds just peace and quiet!😍
This a beautiful place to fish and kayak. It also has the best boat ramp in the area! Very well designed and plenty of parking. There are picnic areas and the best bird watching at sunset!

In 1925, circus impresario John Ringling (1866–1936) decided to build an art museum, both as a legacy meant to outlast his business interests and as a memorial to his wife Mable and himself. By sharing the arts of Europe with the people of Florida, Ringling sought to educate and encourage curiosity for the wider world.
John H. Phillips designed the Museum—a pink, Renaissance-style palace with 21 galleries enclosing a courtyard graced with copies of iconic sculptures. First opened in 1930, Ringling filled the Museum with European paintings, paneled rooms from the Gilded Age Astor mansion in New York, and ancient and medieval objects purchased from distinguished collections. Upon his death in 1936, Ringling bequeathed the Museum to the people of Florida. This Museum is beautiful and has great art works as well as beautiful gardens on the museum and residence grounds. A must see if you enjoy art and history!
