This is one of our favorite weekend destinations, a day at the beach Avellanas combined with lunch at Lolas. Its a 40min drive from the house, dirt road, 4x4 not necessary but road can be bumpy , its a real fun adventure ;-). The beach is stunning, the restaurant right on the beach, just perfect for an easy day enjoying the sun, sea and pura vida life.

This is one of our favorite weekend destinations, a day at the beach Avellanas combined with lunch at Lolas. Its a 40min drive from the house, dirt road, 4x4 not necessary but road can be bumpy , its a real fun adventure ;-). Excellent place if you want to mingle with the locals in Tamarindo and enjoy the nightlife. It starts at sunset and continues throughout the evening. Great spot for drinks, the cocktails are excellent, but the food is delicious too so don’t skip this restaurant. Depending on the day of the week there’s (live or dj) music a little later in the eve.

Excellent place if you want to mingle with the locals in Tamarindo and enjoy the nightlife. It starts at sunset and continues throughout the evening. Great spot for drinks, the cocktails are excellent, but the food is delicious too so don’t skip this restaurant. Depending on the day of the week there’s (live or dj) music a little later in the eve.
