A magnificently spectacular outdoor show with over 1000 cast depicting the concise history of Britain and in particular the local area all set on a 40 acre arena with the magnificent Bishop Auckland Castle as a backdrop.
An absolute MUST SEE which is a unique tourist attraction with a magnificent firework finale.
It is worth noting that the show seating has no cover and umbrellas are banned in order not to block the view of other spectators, so it is worth taking bin liners and plastic ponchos in case of rain. There are food and drink outlets on site and ample car parking which mostly involves a long walk to the venue although shuttle buses run from various points in the town where there is ample parking to leave cars.
