Go experience "Discover Scuba" if you are not certified diver. That is ok. If you are certified, make sure to dive the Pier out west, it is literally a Finding Nemo movie :)

St. Croix is about nature. You must go out east and hike down to Jack and Issac Bay. No cars, no homes, just nature. You drive out to Point Udall, park, and hike to Jack and Issac. Wear your bathing suit, and wear hiking/tennis shoes, once you get down to the bay you can enjoy snorkeling, swimming, and one of the best beaches in the world.

Rental Car Recommended

St. Croix is a wonderful island. The largest of the Virgin Islands; and lest populated. The perfect mixture for nature and exploring; however, not awesome for easily finding a taxi. There are taxis, but not quick. You will want a rental car. https://www.stxrentalcar.com/

Good Morning, Afternoon, Night.

One of the magical things about St. Croix is the people. We are a welcoming culture, and you will hear often people say Good Morning, Good Afternoon, Good Night, as a way of greeting an entire room, even when they walk into a restaurant or the post office. You should participate, trust us, you will get a better table, faster service, and feel more connected to St. Croix, if you are nice, relaxed, smile and say Good Morning, Afternoon, Night to people you meet.

Swim Suits, Hiking Shoes

St. Croix is the largest of the Virgin Islands but also lest populated. All beaches are public so bring lots of swim suits, explore all the beaches, and make sure you bring a good pair of shoes to hike in. So much beauty and so many hikes.
