Lover's Point Beach is a great beach! Even on a windy day, the locals know that Lover's Point usually shields you from the wind. It is a great a place to learn to kayak, boogie board, surf, or snorkel. It is also a great place to watch the sunrise.
There are two dining options atop the beach. The Grill has a great burger, and of course my children always want their soft serve ice cream. Beach House Restaurant at Lover's Point is one of my favorites! Weather I'm eating in the restaurant or ordering for take on on the beach, I cant get away from the Fire and Ice meal they serve. If you like shrimp you have to try this! Its a crunchy shrimp in a delicious sauce served over an ice berg wedge with blue cheese. In fact, I want some right now!

The moment your feet hit the sand your breath is taken away! Go the distance and take a walk until you come to a grove of trees and hike up to the top of the hill to experience one of the most magnificent views you will ever see. This will change your life, I promise.
