Sightseeing
Harkness Park is one of the most beautiful places in Connecticut (maybe even on Earth!) There is a small beach area (supposedly no swimming but people do) But more importantly, the grounds are amazing to walk. You have panoramic views of the ocean, plenty of shady places to picnic and gardens galore to walk through. 46 minute drive.

You can also visit the Jonathan Trumbull House if it's open, for a 30 minute tour. (The Lebanon Winery is super close by too!)
