Three parking lots are located before the beach, which require permit or pay-by-hour parking.

Trails make the refuge easily walkable, and you shouldn’t be surprised if a few deer cross your path. Then head to Fortunes Rocks Beach where you can surf, bodyboard, kayak, or climb on the rocks.
