There is the possibility to ski on the Mont Blanc in off piste routes, from the Aiguille du Midi go down to the country through the Mer de Glace, or on normal ski slopes with more than 152km of downhill slopes and 42km trail skiing. At the train start to the Mer de Glace, there are also slopes for beginners. There are also ski schools for any levels, from beginners to pre-race training. The guides also arrange fantastic experiences in the snow such as the Vallee Blanche. The legend of the off-piste in Chamonix has its origin on the edge of the glaciers, where the slopes seem to have no end. La Vallée Blanche, starting from the Aiguille du Midi, offers several itineraries. This off-piste skiing is extremely popular until the early spring for its beautiful view.

Perched 3,777 m above sea level, the Aiguille du Midi and its viewing platforms offer a panoramic view across the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. A lift will then take you on to the highest deck at 3,842 m, where you can take in the uninterrupted views of the Mont Blanc.
