City/town information

Les Gets is a lovely small French village on the edge of the Porte de Soleil. Head to the Office du Tourism to see what is happening during your stay. There is often special welcome evenings and firework displays so it is worth checking to make the most of your stay. The Les Gets Website is also useful for finding ski lessons and booking ski passes. It is advisable to book your ski pass before you arrive to avoid queues. The Chavannes is the main telesiege in town and is in the town center. There is an underground car park beside the Chavannes which is useful if you are bringing a car. The ESF is also in the centre of town. Pick up a piste map to help you find your way around the Pistes. If you are a beginner or just want to ski with your family then start with a Les Gets/Morzine ski pass. If you are an experienced skier and want to go further afield then buy a Porte de Soleil ski pass which allows you to ski beyond Morzine to Avoriaz, Chatel and Beyond.

Quiet location to ski

On the opposite side of town to the main lifts but a lovely mornings skiing, included in the Les Gets lift pass. There are a few nice restaurants over there and mainly red and black runs so probably not for beginners.

Book your ski pass from Lesgets.com and your ski lessons

www.Lesgets.com has a page for booking your ski pass and options for ski lessons. Group lessons are cheapest but can be inflexible so if you only want a few lessons it may be worth looking at hiring a private instructor.
