Lovely family day out, lots to see. You can purchase food from the shop to feed some of the animals. Animals include goats, sheep, giant rabbits, wallaby’s ,owls and more.
There is a park where the children can play and climb. Great place to take a picnic as well.
Children can get involved with grooming the ponies at certain times of the day.
There is also gardens to look around and more.
Very reasonably priced and the funds go towards reserving an historic place.

Quite an adventurous day out for the children. Exciting trail ways, and lots to climb on. Beautiful scenery along the way, it is very popular.
I would advice taking a picnic, there are lovely areas set up for this.

Great family day out with lots to see. A wonderful array of animals and sea creatures . There is also a play area for the children. A part of it is wet play, the children can have fun running through small fountains of water and they can be squirted by Mum and Dad. I would advice taking swimwear or a change of clothes for this activity.
There are places to buy food but the choice is quite limited at the moment. I would consider taking a picnic for the family. They have a lovely green area outside of the centre and once inside there are picnic benches and grass areas.

This pub has new owners and it seems to be quite a hit with the locals. I have heard good things about the new owners and the food. It’s in East Stour the next village from us,literally five minutes away from our location.

They now have a seasonal outside cafe where you can purchase homemade bakes, jacket potatoes, pizza, sandwiches , milkshakes, hot drinks and more.
You can sit and enjoy your food and drinks on one of the picnic benches . If the children feel like letting off some steam there is a large play area to run around.
You can also enjoy the animals, you can feed some of them and they have scheduled petting times.
It’s a great local family favourite.
