A Summer Concert Tradition Since 1942. The Kee to Bala is one of the truly iconic concert venues, not only in Ontario, but the world. It’s rich history and heritage have made it a destination in Muskoka, and a tradition among locals and visitors for the last 75 years. Expanding over the water onto Bala Bay, this wooden structure has had hundreds of thousands of excited music lovers pass through its doors over the last eight decades. The Kee has played host to some amazing talent over the years, including stars like Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington in the 40’s, to Blue Rodeo and Rush in recent years. Many things have changed in Muskoka since the 1940’s but one of the the few things that has remained constant is The Kee to Bala bringing people together on the shores of Lake Muskoka to catch some great music, in one of the best concert venues in the province!

Bala Historic Walk

The Town of Bala consists of three islands interconnected by bridges over beautiful waterfalls. There is a spectacular view of the Moon River and the falls on this walk. These falls, the South Falls run with water from Lake Muskoka, Rosseau and Joseph funneling through Bala enroute to Georgian Bay. You can also enjoy a visit to the Lucy Maud Montgomery Museum. This is just a taste of the many historical sites that are along this self-guided walk of historic Bala.
