Orgiva has many bars and restaurants offering a variety of different food and drink The typical Spanish bars give free tapas with drinks and after about 7pm at night.Most places are accustomed to some customers asking for a vegetarian or meat free tapa although in some places you may just get a plate of crisps or a tomato cut into slices remember that tapas are free so you should ask politely and accept whatever you are given! If you want a meal rather than just tapas you can order a "ración" in the bars, It's typical for each person to order one ración and then to share with the group.Like tapas, vegetarian options can be limited. There are several pizzerias in town- our favourite is Pizza n Love. Baraka is a Morrocan style restaurant (no alcohol) with a range of vegan.vegetarian and meaty options and the atmosphere is friendly and relaxed (you will never feel pressurised to leave, no matter how busy they are). For good Italian food La Venta Maria in Las Barreras, 5 mins drive out of Orgiva in the direction of Lanjarón has a selection of vegetarian,vegan and meat dishes (mainly pasta but also fish and salads) and they are usually open to adjusting ingredients if they don't have exactly what you want.
