What to do if you visit Minca? I onwed a cabaña in Minca and lived there during winter time in USA so my favorites are:
Bird Watching
Hikking by a cacao plantation or walk to "Las Cascadas" or water fall around 45 minutes from town and refresh innto one of the natural pools when you arrive to the falls.
Go to pozo azul and enjoy it's cool water.
Visit Hacienda San Rafael and learn their coffee process or simple
stroll by the small town and mix with the people.
This is an small town where it's people is really proud and work hard to keep as it is, right now is a COVID free area.
Minca is called the ecologic capital of Colombia and is home for a large variaty of birds so do not miss this oportunity. Minca also offer coffee plantation, great bistros and many organic food.
It has two very recognize bakeries Duni and the Frennch Bakery where people wait that the chocolate bread get out of the oven.
