Stop in to the store to check out lavender products made on site. It’s worth swinging in there just to see the huge copper distiller. Nice folks, great products.

Great for fishing, swimming, boating or just looking at. :) Farragut Park and Bayview are at the southern tip; Sandpoint and Hope are toward the North. Enjoy Lake Pend Oreille at Farragut Park, and then drive 30 minutes north to Sandpoint to enjoy it at the City Beach! There are also interesting and beautiful boat tours and fishing charters.

Restrooms, canoe rentals, paddle board rentals, snacks for sale at the ranger station, picnic tables, and a lovely trail around the lake. It’s about 15-20 miles north of Cider Mountain.

Sit on the sandy beach at the city park, rent anything from a boat to a paddle board downtown, fish, golf at a course with a floating golf green in the lake, parasail, hike Tubbs hill for beautiful views, walk the Boardwalk at the resort, or take a sightseeing cruise on one of the Coeur d'Alene Resort's sightseeing boat tours. All of that is available just a block or two from our best restaurants and shopping. If that isn't your style, there are plenty of quiet, remote spots to enjoy the lake as well. It's an extremely large lake.
