St Peter’s Pool is a naturally created rocky pool around 30 minute walk from Marsaxlokk Centre. It only takes 10 minutes by car. The water, through the years, has created different rock formations, which are creating the pool, a perfect spot for jumping and diving.

Wied iz Zurrieq is an authentic little village on the west side of Malta, famous for the steep cliff`s and deep sea waters. Here, boats depart, weather permitting, for enjoyable 30-minute cruises to the Blue Grotto, a huge natural arch in the sea cliffs 400m to the east. The boat trips also take in seven caves, including the Honeymoon Cave, Reflection Cave and Cat's Cave. Wied iz Zurrieq also is known for traditional fish restaurants, spectacular sunsets and panoramic views to the Filfla island, located further west from the coastline. Some 10 minutes drive toward north is Hagar Qim, an archeological complex, with the megalithic temples, called Mnajdra.

One of my favourite places to visit in Malta - rich in history, peaceful place and has wonderful views. It is Malta's old capital city and is referred to as the 'Silent City'. Impressive palaces line its narrow, shady streets and is extraordinary in its mix of medieval and baroque architecture. Archaeological and historical sites: The Roman Villa (Domus Romana), catacombs, St. Paul's Grotto and the fine churches and monasteries.

Valletta, The Fortress City, is named after its founder, the respected Grand Master of the Order of St. John, Jean Parisot de la Valette. Valletta is abundantly rich in sites to see and explore, intriguing historical buildings around every corner: votive statues, niches, fountains and coats of arms high up on parapets. Narrow side streets are full of tiny quaint shops and cafés, while Valletta's main streets are lined with larger international branded shops for fashion, music, jewellery and much more. The Upper Barrakka Gardens, Hastings Gardens & the Lower Barrakka Gardens are just three of the most popular sites, however on further exploration many more hidden gardens can be discovered. From the Upper Barrakka Gardens it is also possible to see the Saluting Battery as well as take the lift down the bastions to sea level. St John's co-Cathedral & museum are definitely not to be missed, this elaborately adorned church is home to world famous artistic masterpieces by Caravaggio and Mattia Preti. Apart from beautiful Baroque churches other places of interest include the various grandmaster auberges, piazzas & museums.
