The village of Dobarsko has gained global fame not only for its enthralling natural scenery, celebrated folk choir of the Dobarsko Grannies and quite tasty homemade food. The place not far from the skiing resort of Bansko, Southwestern Bulgaria, has emerged as a rural tourism destination since the beginning of 21 c. The reason: its stone church with frescoes dated 400 years ago. Among them there are two dismaying frescoes of Jesus Christ depicted in something that looks like a spaceship

The Septemvri–Dobrinishte narrow-gauge line is the only operating 760 mm narrow-gauge line in Bulgaria. It is operated by Bulgarian State Railways. The line is actively used with four passenger trains running the length of the line in each direction per day. People can enjoy at incredible nature on Rhodops, Western Rila and Pirin mounthains

Peri Volas Horse Base is located in the village of Bachevo, 12 km from Bansko in the beautiful Perivol area, whose name means "beautiful garden". The base operates throughout the year. Perivol a few kilometers above Bachevo in the heart of the beautiful Rila Mountain. In winter, the horses go down to the village, with walks and rides in the middle of the field and the incredible view of the Pirin Mountain.
After a ride or a stroll, you can enjoy home-cooked meals.
