History

The Majorero Cheese Museum, located in the former craft center "Antigua Windmill", is meant to look at things differently  Fuerteventura. The architectural style, the typical island architecture, is fully consistent with the island and architectural style. The complex and its spaces give us the opportunity to offer you a different route, which you can freely enjoy. See how the majorero cheese making tradition of Fuerteventura is continued here. In the museum they show you how the residents have learned to get the best out of all their resources. Majorero cheese is unique and is only made on Fuerteventura. In this museum you can discover how all this has been designed over the centuries. Don't forget to visit the beautifully laid out cactus garden.
