Many guest will just hang out own front of the bar and sometimes right on the street which at times is closed for special events. You have a choice to do a rather strenuous hike or just to visit and stop by a certain overlook spots with the car. Must see.. Amazing how nature recovered itself after a major hurricane. Need to make reservations online the day or a couple of days before your date of visit! Online reservations open at 8am.. Search for El Yunque reservations and look for recreation-dot-gov (not able to fully provide the site address)

Reservations are required to enter El Yunque. Check out the site as reservations are open after 8am the day before you wish to visit. There is a small $2.00 reservation fee per car. - Being in a rain forest, there may be an occasional shower. The weather is much cooler than near the beach, but tolerable. Bring your bathing suit if you want to take a dip in a natural watering hole.
