The oceanarium is the first marine park in the Visayas and Mindanao featuring various sea animals (200 species) in one location, along with several species of birds, insects, and reptiles. The park is set to have its opening in 3rd quarter of 2019. Built in the tradition of Manila Ocean Park, but the Cebu Ocean Park (occupying an area of 10,000sqm) is much bigger than its Manila counterpart (8,000sqm). Toledo City, previously called as “Pueblo Hinulawan”, is a city located in the west of Cebu Island. It is extensively known for its vast mining industry owned by Atlas Consolidated Mining and Development Corporation. Aside from mining, Toledo is now starting to be recognized through its recently discovered tourist spots. One of which is the Capilla Santa Ana Museum and Community Center and the Labyrinth that can be found beside the chapel. The Capilla Santa Ana Museum is a privately owned chapel located in Sitio Santa Ana, Barangay Ibo, Toledo City. It is owned by a Toledo native, Lilian Yareda, who is married to Michael Overs, a Canadian. The chapel was designed very identical to the old chapels in Europe. There are five rooms inside the chapel which serve as prayer room, baptistry, museum, and a classroom. The chapel also serves as a multi-purpose building for Tesari Charitable Foundation where they conduct health, educational, and livelihood assistance to the registered voters of the city. The interior of the chapel is beautifully embellished with European Renaissance paintings, antiques, and sculptures. There is even a replica of one of Michelangelo’s finest masterpieces, the Pietà. It is also filled with religious icons displayed in every corner. An 1859 Steinway piano is also displayed inside. Beside the chapel, a garden called the Labyrinth can be found. It is inspired by the labyrinths found in Europe. It is a maze-like creation that is perfect for picture taking.

Basilica Minore del Sto. Nino de Cebu

The Basílica Menor del Santo Niño de Cebú (Minor Basilica of the Holy Child of Cebú), commonly known as the Santo Niño Basilica, is a minor basilica in Cebu City in the Philippines that was founded in the 1565 by Fray Andrés de Urdaneta, O.S.A. and Fray Diego de Herrera, O.S.A.. The oldest Roman Catholic church in the country, it is built on the spot where the image of the Santo Niño de Cebú was found during the expedition of Miguel López de Legazpi. The icon, a statuette of the Child Jesus, is the same one presented by Ferdinand Magellan to the chief consort of Rajah Humabon upon the royal couple's christening on April 14, 1521. It was found by a soldier named Juan de Camuz forty years later, preserved in a wooden box, after Legazpi had razed a local village.[1] When Pope Paul VI made the church a basilica in 1965, he declared it to be "the symbol of the birth and growth of Christianity in the Philippines."

Krus ni Magellan

Magellan's Cross (Spanish: Cruz de Magallanes, Tagalog: Krus ni Magallanes) is a Christian cross planted by Portuguese and Spanish explorers as ordered by Ferdinand Magellan upon arriving in Cebu in the Philippines on (depending on source) 16 (U.S. date) or 17(Philippines date) March 1521.This cross is housed in a chapel next to the Basilica Menor del Santo Niño on Magallanes Street, just in front of the city center of Cebu City. A sign below the cross states that the original cross is encased inside the wooden cross made of tingalo wood. This is to protect the original cross from people who chipped away parts of the cross for souvenir purposes in the belief that the cross possesses miraculous powers.Some people, however, believe that the original cross has been destroyed or disappeared after Magellan's death and the cross is a replica that was planted there by the Spaniards after they successfully christianized the Philippines.

Fuerte de San Pedro is a military defense structure in Cebu (Philippines), built by the Spanish under the command of Miguel López de Legazpi, first governor of the Captaincy General of the Philippines. It is located in the area now called Plaza Indepedencia, in the pier area of the city. The original fort was made of wood and built after the arrival of Legazpi and his expedition. In the early 17th century a stone fort was built to repel Muslim raiders. Today's structure dates from 1738 and is the oldest triangular bastion fort in the country. It served as the nucleus of the first Spanish settlement in the Philippines. During the Philippine Revolution at the end of the 19th century, it was attacked and taken by Filipino revolutionaries, who used it as a stronghold.

Cebu Heritage Monument

The Heritage of Cebu Monument is a tableau of sculptures made of concrete, bronze, brass and steel showing scenes about events and structures related to the history of Cebu. The construction of the monument began in July 1997 and it was finished in December 2000. Local artist Eduardo Castrillo built the sculptures of the Cebu Heritage Monument. He and the late Senator Marcelo Fernan together with donations from other private individuals and organizations funded the construction of the monument. The structures depicted in the Heritage Monument are the Basilica del Santo Niño, the Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral, the Saint John the Baptist Church, the Magellan’s Cross, and a Spanish Galleon.
