Advisable to hire a car for sightseeing in the general area
As buses can be infrequent at off-peak times, it his highly advisable to hire a car in order to see the sights. There are direct trains into and out of Dublin city, but the train station is not directly closeby the house. If you have hired a car, the location is perfect for exploring the general East coast, Northern Ireland and for further exploration to the West of Ireland.
