Leave your car on Siphon Road (the Irrigation Channel Service road) and catch a ride with the Quiet Waters crew on their way to Algodones. The extra $5 a person charge for the pick-up service makes it worth it when you get to be the first to leave because your car is already where you need to be, close to home.

October is my favorite time to visit because the chile is roasting, the fall harvest and the pumpkin and apple festival are happening!

The 32nd Annual Festival of the Cranes - November 20th - 23rd, 2019. Photographers, birders and wildlife enthusiasts from around the country come together in celebration of the return of the Sandhill Cranes to their winter home. Saturday November 23rd is free fun for children of all ages. See the Festival Website for more information. The Tour Loop entrance fee is waived during this event.
