Sightseeing
This is the home of the famous 100 year old roller coaster. It is our local boardwalk play place, right on the beach and it has mini golf, arcade, rides, bumper cars, rock/wall climbing, wave house, bar, restaurants, and much more! Great to walk to from our place (3 min walk) and see it at night when its all lit up! Nice family fun! Must do!

It commemorates the early days of the town of San Diego and includes many historic buildings from the period 1820 to 1870. The park was established in 1968. In 2005 and 2006, California State Parks listed Old Town San Diego as the most visited state park in California. Great Mexican shopping and Restaurants too!!!

Check out the Hotel Del. It's great for pictures and it has a nice beach behind it. All free for anyone to walk in and around. Nice at night with all the lights on. Has a huge brunch in the crown room but its very pricey. The island itself is very cute. You'll think you're on a movie set. In fact, many movies have been filmed on this island.
This is very close by the beach house and has awesome views and tide pools. Small fee to enter, maybe around $7. There's a museum and trails to wander around too. There's an old lighthouse and the picture spots are worth it!

Closest pier to us and within walking distance. Just walk north up the beach and you can't miss it. You can walk all the way out onto the pier and take pics if you want. This is a nice walk early in the morning too.

Don't forget. During the summer there is fireworks every night at 9:45 at Sea world. Walk across to the bay and sit on the sand and watch a great fireworks show! Every night!!!
